Communication theory is the theory of messaging between at least two communicators, for example a mother talking to a father, the interaction between the two, what they say how it is perceived, etc. Understanding Communication theory is a good asset to have, understanding the relationship you are creating between yourself and and another communicator is necessary. Seeing the connection from Semiotics, pragmatics, and communication and how they all relate, how messaging is strengthened through pragmatics and understanding how they will perceive it through semiotics knowing how implicate semantics to relay something to another so that you're message is relayed how you intend and so that you get satisfactory feedback with the least amount of noise. I have come to really look at how they mend to each other, now you can get by without implicating all three practices but when used in harmony they are magical. When I had to participate in my own experience, which I do basically everyday, but to actually note how the role of communication theory applies to what im doing really helped understand the theory, but also seeing how others apply this to their work or messages to me as a participant really seeing what they are trying to communicate is important.
Here is my break down of Communication Theory. My page of definitions, my example of live experience step by step to understand what each act of communication is and means. Then a Skype communication model, understanding how skype works as in communication wise.
